In addition to enhancing their quality of life and assuring access to medical and rehabilitative care, we are dedicated to empowering persons with disabilities and their families. Everywhere feasible, we work to prevent lifelong disabilities, and as a result, we provide intensive maternity and newborn healthcare.

Repair of reproductive fistula is one of the efforts of (MNHC). For high-risk and emergency births in Dar es Salaam and the Eastern Region of Tanzania, our Maternity and Infants Unit acts as a referral centre.

We are looking for a doctor who would like to provide general medical services, including prevention and early detection of disabilities, to develop the medical unit.

 

The role

Examining and treating patients in the outpatient and inpatient departments, which includes conducting scheduled clinics, patient examinations, admitting patients to the wards, preparing surgical lists, and updating the Physicians/Senior Specialist on the conditions of patients prior to discharge.

Although most of your work will be done in the departments mentioned above, you will also have the opportunity to perform minor surgeries, assist experienced surgeons during major operations, and participate in outreach programs. Additionally, you will experience on-call duties during shifts, so it is important for employees to be willing to work nights and weekends.

The applicant

Possesses a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from a reputable university and has successfully completed one

intern for a year. (undergraduate GPA of 2.7 required)

  It is advantageous to have interest in the discipline of ophthalmology.

  1 year of post-internship employment with a respectable company

 in good standing as a doctor with the Tanganyika Medical Council.

  literate in computers

   excellent written and verbal communication abilities in Swahili and English

   client-focused team player

   a proactive mindset and a desire to work
